Olympic Excitement

Wednesday and finally we get to see the BMX at the Olympics.
Our younger son, now 25 raced BMX with a lot of these guys but especially Tanya Bailey and Nicole Callisto, (favourites in the girls event)
We all belonged to the same club.
He has also raced with Kamakazi, Luke Madill and I am not sure about Jarrod Graves, he is exciting to watch. Unfortunately Luke is already out of it.
The boys have made it thru to the semi's with the girls racing tomorrow too.

Its interesting that Tania and Nicole are both local girls and both live just minutes from us. Its awesome to know they are there.
We also know Ryan Bailey (no relation to Tanya)He rode in the Velodrome Sprint and Keiran events. He got Gold in Athens but was devastated to find his form is not what it should be. My heart goes out to him. I am sure we will see him again in London. We are in awe that we know 3 Olympians isn't that just awesome!!!!!

So Go! go! go! you guys, we wish you all the best for tomorrow.
These guys are really living their dream with it being the Inaugural BMX event at the Olympics this year.

Ok just a bit of trivea to start the week. lol
Hope everyone had a good weekend. My eldest son flew into Perth friday for a
business meeting stayed the weekend it was nice to catch up He brought his
girlfriend with him so we had a get together Friday night.
Sat morning,Had a coffee with them at our favourite spot overlooking the sea,


Sunday we had our grandkids for a few hours so their parents could go for a motorbike ride and have some quality time together, just the two of them.

The kids had a ball they discovered that the trees in our yard were big enough to climb and strong enough to hold them. lol.
They were like a pair of monkeys all afternoon. Kept them busy.

Intro

Well I finally got here, thought this was never gonna happen.
My names Marie and my surname starts with C, hence the EmCee.
I started paper scrapping and still really enjoy it, but I never seem to get the time needed to get all the things out I wanted to use.
While I was browsing looking for some images I wanted for a scrap book for my eldest son, ( He had just lost his best friend, his dog). I found all these scrap sites and the rest is history. I couldn't help myself I was addicted to Digi scraps now I do both but mainly digi.

I love to make books for my grandson. I have just finished his ABC book. Unfortunately when I laminated some of the pages the laminate hasn't stuck, it's loose between the layers, so looks like I will have to print those again and buy a new laminater.
